1964 topps stand up wrapper..5c version. Super rare

Just picked one up on ebay (CRAZY PRICE) but a must have
Been looking 20 years
Never been one for auction and i have every auction catalogue
Many big time collectors and dealers told me didnt exist
But i remember buying as a 7 year old
Anyone else have?

At the '06 National Steve Hart had a nickel pack on set up day. He was asking $1200 I believe. I took a 5 minute walk and came back for it and it was gone.
Wasn't in great shape but it was legit, haven't seen another since. So there is at least one unopened pack out there.

I have one!

Congrats on winning it Larry!! I have a nice one I picked up on ebay in march of 2014 for $200 (was the only bidder on it and won it for the starting bid price)--this seller has probably the nicest selection of rare and seldom seen wrappers I have seen on ebay in years; nice to see this type of stuff on there for a change as opposed to the usual recycled garbage that's on there everyday!

ETA: I could've told you it existed three years ago and Anthony couldve told you it existed 11 years ago--should've asked us!!:D

64 Stand Up

You actually see them once in a while, particularly hidden in an auction lot of wrappers. There are 4 different penny wrappers and one nickel. Been collecting these a while and just started to get all the different side panel variations and was surprised at the price. Tough but not super rare by any means as I consider less than 5 to be "super rare".

Congrats on the pick up, however!

Should have kept the ones in 1964 :). Still have the cards at least? Did they come with gum like the other Topps issues?
