1992 Topps Round Trippers?
 

Recent EBay pickup, anyone know anything about these? They appear to be cut from a sheet and are blank back and approx. 3 3/4 inches across.

Ebayer leximo2 has listed a sizable amount of oddball Topps and Fleer stuff in the past couple years. Proofs, tests, uncut things. They seem to be legit. Round Trippers was possibly an oddball set like Stickers and such but never made it, IIRC.

Too bad it was never released. This set could have been a nice one to have.

I feel the same way now about the 55 Stamps, 61 Dice, 66 Punch Outs, 67 Stand Ups, 68 3Ds, 70 Cloth, 71 Rookie Artist Proofs, 85 Minis, 88 Cloth....what was Topps thinking ? :)

On the other hand, non issued test issues are a fascinating part of the hobby's history

Is there a checklist for these anywhere? I've looked through the eBay sales but just curious if we know all the players that were included.

None that I know, the seller believes these are 1/1 so it might never be known. I know theres a Dwight Gooden that I missed out on, these are the only 3 Mets that I know of.

Not sure what these are, but picked up the Kevin McReynolds for the PC.

I don't remember seeing these? They are not in my SCD.

My ultimate question... Are there any Cardinals?

Shane---the seller, leximo2, still has a couple of them up on ebay. I had never seen them before and am not aware of any CL. He seems to be the only source currently, you might ask him if he sold or is aware of any Cardinals

I was able to purchase a Lee Smith, Todd Zeile, and a Pedro Guerrero. The bad news.... No.... Terrible news.... Is that an Ozzie Smith exists. He sold it a few months ago! I will probably never see it.
