Maybe so....but Im stubborn....I still like to think I can sell on Ebay as good as them....that's basically all they are doing...listing on Ebay.....I may not get the prices they do, but Im not crippled.....some things I can do myself.

I think all it means is they shill their auctions. I bet you would get those prices if you got peoples max bids. just saying. Shady business

It would appear that you arent doing a good job selling by yourself..though i know you may just be spouting salesmanship to get eyeballs

Fact speak for themselves.....then again, I run honest auctions with no shilling. When I have a card with a VCP of $300-$400 (with sales as high as $500) sell for $200, what does that tell you. When the winning buyer is one of THE MAJOR car dealers on here (Im not going to say who he is, but his name has been spoken NUMEROUS times around here), then you know you are giving items away. Losing money is nothing new to me....I will CONTINUE to try to carve my own little niche in the Ebay world.

VCP doesnt really tell the story though in most cases...how many were Buy it nows versus auctions...did the card sell for exactly 200..or a bit more....getting 50 dollars less for example that a recent auction i dont consider highway robbery....

but again, you said you can do this yourself...if you are constantly getting robbed than i would submit that you may want to consign your items and not get robbed

I think what helped it was the PR-FR tag.....apparently, it was graded before the half grade scale, and cards with those tags are actually 1.5's??
