Hello

Does anyone know who davidbvintage is on eBay? I want to discuss some of his cards but I think EBay messaging is not allowing my messages to go through. Would appreciate any help.

David Bryan...one of the best ebay sellers of vintage for the past 15+ years. No contact info though, and not sure if he is on here or not.

He is a member, same name: Davidbvintage.

Sellers do not get any better than DavidBVintage IMO.

Ditto Jason's assessment. Super nice guy online and in person.

I bought a lot of stuff from him years ago on ebay. Never an issue.

He's one of the best to deal with: http://www.davidbvintage.com/

eBay cracking down big time on buyer - seller communications.

How long before eBay starts telling sellers that they are prohibited from selling listed items elsewhere on the Internet?

Batpig 05-19-2017 04:25 PM

That wouldn't shock me. Not too long ago they killed my invoice message that had my email address in it.

Does anyone have any fool-proof tactics for getting a seller's contact info to conduct a deal offline?

jb67 05-19-2017 05:13 PM

I have never tried this but they could post a picture with there info. added to it.

I ask if they're a member of Net54, and if so, can we talk there?

It only takes one transaction to get the sellers email. It appears in the Paypal invoice. I've done plenty of off site stuff with guys after only one purchase. After that, ebay can't do a damn thing about it.

Hilariously a guy has contacted me twice in the last month with an ebay user name that ends in dotcom. I simply can not return a message to him. Both times he has asked me if I will take a money order because he doesn't do paypal. Both times I was unable to answer his question. I would hit send and ebay would tell me that they do not allow off ebay dealing.

Thanks for the help and I was able to make a deal with David.
