A heavy diamond cut gets a PSA 5?
Wow. I know there are a lot of examples of bad grading (by all companies) ... but HUGE diamond cut, bad corners, edged wear and surface spots ... and this gets a 5? PSA should be embarrassed on this one:

Based on the serial number, it looks like this card was graded a while back. My guess, if this card were to be re-graded today, it would not receive a 5. In my 52 set, I have about 100 cards that were graded 10+ years ago as 5's, my guess (when comparing them to more recently graded 5s), is that many of these older graded cards would not grade the same today as they did in the past.

It is in here (postwar) somewhere and all that replied couldn't believe it was a 7 based on overall condition and the marks/stain on the left border. Grading is like gambling. Some win some lose. |
Centering...
I think the centering on this card makes up for the diamond cut...
