Super excited to add this one...thanks Stephen! Crease free with some print defects/WST on front and back that are original to the card. Looks EXMT otherwise
|
Man that is a great looking Robinson. I would be super pumped to add that one. Congrats.
|
Nice Jackie!!!
|
That Jackie Robinson is awesome!
|
Wow!! Very nice!!
|
Thanks gentleman! That means a lot, especially when your wife is like "seriously, another Jackie?". At least my five year old is pumped!

Picked this up at my LCS: 1960 Topps Willie Mays

Not the most exciting of cards, but I just received this '67 Niekro RC in a small lot off of the 'Bay. The final card I needed to complete the 1967 set with all its high numbers. Still could use a few upgrades, but for now it gets the 'check'.

Congrats Big Daddy Tom! Finishing the '67 set is quite an accomplishment. One of my favorites sets.

Very happy to be adding this card. Heinrich has eluded me for some time. This is a great example. Special thanks to member Robw1959.

That Lou Gehrig is such a beautiful card. The big full-body player photos superimposed on mini stadium scenes give the players a larger-than-life appearance that pretty much all of us would suscribe to.
To have THE key card from such an awesome set is a huge feat. And of course.so much of the set is a Hall of Fame roll call. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk |

The Delong Gehrig might be my favorite baseball card of all time.

This has got to be the ugliest card I have ever actually paid money for. Besides that, I can't read Spanish!
Rudy York is one of those really good players who has very few cards to his name. 1946 Los Reyes Del Deporte: Attachment 272707 |

I was thinking I likely won't be posting any new P/U's this month, but when I seen this card, which had been alluding me, and seeing it was from a great seller, I had to at least try.
My main competition was a guy who had 11 retractions in the last 6 months so I wasn't sure how this was going to play out, but luckily for, my snipe bid held out and I was able to win it. :) |
58 Mantle
Nice '58 Mantle. Picked this up at the RMU Card Show, Frank was actually signing at this show.

...The centering sub-grade for Raschi is a "9" and Teddy's is an "8" despite the truly wicked diamond-cut of the left border ; I've never seen such a diamond cut on one border without the corresponding DC balancing it out on the opposite border ?? The '54 set centering is all over the map though ; there could be an entire thread on 1954 Topps centering....---- and that '57 Teddy two floors up is possibly the best-centered I've ever seen ; way to go , fellow centering weenie...... .. |
1957 Topps Ted Williams was my favorite card FOREVER! But mine isn't nearly as nice as that one. Wow!!

I added these two for my set. I'm happy. Centering on the Kaline for a 7 is tough to find and the lack of snow on the Larsen gives me a card-on.

Thanks Jason and Lou!

I have been laying off purchasing lately due to the CDN dollar weakness. It just got to the point where I had to draw the line somewhere. Hopefully, and I'm not holding my breath, it rebounds some soon! |
