Note: Since I've now had 4 people claim the lot thinking the RC logo is the true Update RC, it's not.
Do people honestly think I'd toss a card that sells for more than $150 into a $25 lot?


Looking to sell or possibly trade a few lots.

Lot is back up for sale. Possible buyer thought the RC logo card was the original 2011 Topps Update RC that sells for more than $150.

It's an insert from 2015 or 2016 I believe.

Yeah, that is kind of an important detail there. I saw it and honestly thought the same thing and was kinda pissed about not getting it before he did.

I edited the post to let people know it's indeed an insert. But I didn't think people would think it's the real RC. I mean, it sells for more than $150 alone, and I"m asking $25 for the lot. Just common sense would tell people it's an insert or reprint of some sort IMO. But I guess nothing surprises me anymore.

I'm confused about that Trout RC in the top right. How can you tell it from the 2011 Update?

The problem is that you can't tell from your scan that it's not the real thing. Maybe you're unaware of what it really sold for or just need money in a bad way. No way for us to know other than it looked like an amazing deal. Either way, you did the right thing by going back and explaining clearly what it actually is and probably saving yourself some further headaches too.

Yea, I'd hope if someone thought I was unaware of it, they'd let me know instead of taking advantage of me just so they can get something for nothing. Not implying anything about you, just saying I would think any buyer would let the seller know (on any card) that he's underpricing something 6x what it goes for.

Also, if I really needed money badly, I'll put it up BIN on ebay for like $100 instant payment. They go for more than $150, so someone would scoop that in like 10 minutes or less.

All that being said, I can't believe it hasn't sold yet. I dropped the lot to $20, less than 50 cents apiece,, for more than $100 in BV in cards. I mean, that's 20% for one of the top 10 players in the game today. Sometimes its just a tough market, I guess.
