Any Tips to Remove Album Corner Mounts from Old Photos?
 

I have the following two photos and would like to remove the corner mounts from the front. They have already been cut from the album - the background is black due to my scan. I would appreciate some suggestions on how I might do this without hurting the photos (they are 2 3/8" x 3.5"). Also, if anyone knows what it says on the back of Mr. Tanabe I would love to know.
