Autographs for Sale
 

Hi-

Over the years I have accumulated a lot of autographs that I would now like to sell off. I believe all of the signatures I am selling are authentic, but please let me know if you feel otherwise (I am certainly not an expert).

I would prefer to sell the entire group for one price if possible but I will also post individual item prices in case there are specific things folks want. My lot price will be about 1/3 of the total prices of the items listed below (I will post a lot price when I am done listing). Please let me know if you need better scans, if you have any questions or if you are interested in any items (or the lot).

1. Larry Doby postcard. stains at corners. Postmarked 1951. = 120.00
2. George Kell postcard (paper loss around borders and writing on back) = 30.00

4. Joe McCarthy and others team signed Yankee newspaper clipping 1944 = 100.00 (glued to construction paper)

7. 1960s Al Worthington Tracard (religious tract card, autographed on back) = 20.00

11. Oscar Roettger autographed documents (when he was a coach ordering items from Rawlings), 3 autographs and other documents = 75.00

Here are more baseball ones. All prices include shipping and I will discount multiple items if wanted. As stated previously I will also post a total lot price when I am done.

14. Al Hirshberg autographed book The Braves The Pick and the Shovel 1948 excellent condition but is missing dust jacket. Signed on first page = 60.00
15. Bob Feller autographed book Strikeout Story 1947. The book is in rough condition with stains inside and out and writing on the cover and on some pages. Feller signed on the first page = 40.00
16. 1950 Hartford Eastern League team signed ball with James Rip Collins and a few other major leaguers. The Collins signature looks like the pen skipped after Ja but the rest of the autograph is very bold (as are all of the others. There is some toning or staining in spots = 75.00
17. Johnny Pesky single signed Rawlings baseball (not an MLB ball) = 20.00
18. Dario Lodigiani 1962 contract with The Autographed Ball Company in High Point NC. Has his signature in six places including four on a baseball pattern. Includes modern photo of Dario = 45.00
19. Jim Piersall autographed photo. On the back, a child wrote, "I am the only baseball player in Red Sox history to get 6 hits in 6 times at bat in one game". Piersall also signed this statement on the back (has tape stains at corners and other issues) = 25.00
20. 1986 writer's dinner autographed program including Sparky Anderson, Bill Buckner, Dick Radatz, and others. Has some stains = 35.00
21. Dick Radatz and Walt Dropo Wilmington (MA) Ford 1964 signed promotional baseball = 30.00
22. Cal Ripken Jr single signed Bobby Brown AL ball really nice condition = 75.00
23. Nolan Ryan and Dennis Eckerlsey signed baseball. Bobby Brown AL ball, really nice condition = 50.00

Here are basketball autographs for sale.

1. Ed Macauley on one side of paper and Bob Brannum on the back (not possible to cut them separately) = 15.00
2. Bob Harris = 25.00
3. Mel Counts program insert = 15.00
4. Tom Heinsohn Gary Chemical photo (some creasing and stains and has a tack hole at top) = 20.00
5. John Havlicek Gary Chemical Photo (less creasing but has a larger water stain) = 20.00

Boxing

1. Willie Pep signed thick paper/cardboard = 20.00
2. Tommy Loughran signed menu. The menu itself has creases at the top right corner and some minor tearing on a couple of pages but the autograph and inscription is really nice on the first page = 125.00

Football
1. Art Donovan signed laminated magazine page (I assume it was signed over the laminate but I do not know for sure) = 15.00
2. Sammy Baugh signed laminated newspaper page. The condition of the autograph is very rough = 20.00

Hockey
1. Tommy Filmore and Harvey Stone signed 1938-39 Springfield Indians program. Program has multiple loose pages, staining and small tears. = 40.00
2. Rod Gilbert signed H-O Oats New York Rangers team photo (stains) = 45.00

Historical and other Non Sport Autographs

Here are my non-sport autographs of mostly historical figures.

1. Harry Blackstone (Senior) signed piece of paper. Staining on paper and the signature has some light spots. This looks like several others I found online but please let me know if this is not the magician's signature (and I will obviously destroy it immediately) = 90.00
2. Isaac Asimov signed Star Trek convention program = 60.00
3. Two autographed photos of an early 1900s contortionist with long inscriptions = 30.00 for both
4. Framed photo signed by Astronaut Bill Nelson (sorry for the scan, the image and auto look nice in person) = 20.00 or 15.00 without the frame
5. Two The Collector Magazines from 1913 and 1917 (New York Autograph collector magazine) = 20.00 for both
6. Peter Lorillard 1862 signed check. I am not sure which Peter Lorillard this was (possibly III). = 125.00
SOLD 7. The Friends of Eddie Coyle novel autographed by George V Higgins published by Knopf NY in 1972. Book in excellent condition. The dust jacket is rough with a small burn hole in one spot and a mid size tear in another = 100.00 SOLD
