What's Hot and What's Not (March edition)
Snowed in, and this is always fun, so shoot....
|
Exhibits with Ruth and Gehrig are hot. The 4 on 1s and others have taken off in last 6-12 months. What was $700 last fall are now close to $2000. I need a few and can't believe the inflation.

Noticed several "hot" card series over the past 6 months. Both have caused me some grief (and money).
1939 Playball cards are "hot". Buying commons last summer at $5-10, now $10-16, and the high numbers have more than doubled. On the other end of the spectrum, for those interested, Michael Jordan cards are "smoking hot" right now, especially early Star cards. Dave |
hot...
Had a gal in my tax office the other day. Hot. Very hot.
|
Not:
This week's weather - snow comin'?
|
T202s have gone from ice cold to luke warm
1953 Bowman are cold |
Ruth is still hot as are rare T206 backs. However the craze on the T206 oddities and misprints has cooled off some, at least to me.
|
Caramels (e92, e93, e98, e101, e102, etc) still seem to lag. They sure were all the rage for a period.
|
Cracker Jacks, especially 1914 seem very hot to me still ... Also, Cobb is picking up steam..
|
E90-1 Cobbs Have Done Very WeLL iN The Past 3-4 Months!!!
|
T206 as a whole is hot - elite HOFer portraits are especially skyrocketing (Cobb/Matty/WaJo/Young/LaJoie)
21 - 28 Exhibits HOFers seem to be hot Almost anything Ruth, Gehrig and Cobb |
