Beautiful autograph from Civil Rights icon MLK Jr.

Stride Toward Freedom 1st Edition, Second Print (I-H, 1958). Book is in pretty good shape.

Signed by Martin Luther King Jr. on back page with the inscription "Best Wishes"

Signature is big and beautiful. Signature is upside down (if that makes sense?) It is my guess that the person that had the book signed held the book out for him to sign it.

Richard, thank you for the suggestion. Aside from RR, are there any other auction houses that specialize in political / historical autographs?

Heritage has auctions specific in many different categories including politicsl/historical autographs. That being said, I don't know why you just wouldn't use R&R if you are unsuccessful selling it yourself. Will likely go for more there than at Heritage but if was mine I'd just sell it myself and forgo the juice on either side from the auction houses. You've got the cert for it, just hit the various facebook autograph groups, here, CU forums, list it for free on ebay with a very high BIN and put a pic of your email address in one of your photos so people can contact you direct, autograph magazine live site, etc etc etc.
