Double Sided Scanner Recs
Any recommendations for a 2 sided scanner for sports cards ? Been looking at the Espon FF-640. Any input is appreciated. Want to know if this machine or others will damage or scratch the card .

In this video they say they are using a Fujitsu fi-7160. Someone asked about highend cards and they replied "The scanner doesn't bend the cards but yes here the rules are for cards over 50$ they go on the flatbed. :)" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7QW-_RPGZE Another one I have seen in a youtube video was Fujitsu fi 6130 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCRxOOpS5x8 I have not personally used any and have been looking myself that is how I found these other two videos. |
Wish they made a reliable double sided flatbed scanner that didn't cost a million bucks. They all seem to be document scanner types.
Sometimes it's difficult to program the software extend beyond the borders to see the full edges of an item, or the scanning mode just doesn't give the type of clarity you would like for certain photos or cards. I use a Fujitsu Scansnap IX500 myself for basic two sided jobs. Works great for some things, and other things, not so much. Anything a little too flimsy, too small, too big or too expensive, I use my flatbad or my IPhone. I'd be curious if anybody else had experiences with this Epson, though I paid enough for the Scansnap I'm not likely to retire it any time soon. |
What kind of scanner is Beckett using in this video?
High-speed scanning about 6 minutes into the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QBb8-hYAWQ |
