Fun PCL find this weekend at PDX antique show
I came across a booth with a lot of different types of antiques. On the bottom of one of his shelves, just above the ground, I saw a couple baseballs with alternate stitching. While I passed on one of them due to not being able to make out any markings on the ball, I left with this one

I was there this weekend and found some really cool stuff (mostly non-sports) but sad I missed that one. Cool pickup and one of the only single's I have ever seen. Rhys |

From my experience with Mails, he signed with that moniker and was widely known by that nickname during the early to mid 1930's. Right about that same time he was included in the Pebble Beach Clothiers postcard set and has been seen signed with that nickname...
