1938 World Series Ticket - Real? Or a Dud?
Found this in a collection I purchased a while back. It was stuck in an old baseball book from the 1950's.
This collection included collectibles from the 1930's to the present, and included reproductions of photos, some legit vintage photos, etc. - the collection was all over the place! But I know absolutely nothing about tickets like this. Any help is appreciated. http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...psf2zrxs9i.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps8a79x1le.jpg Thanks! |

Are you trying to say Bsutherland is not one in TEN MILLION? ;)

It is a a proof ticket... I have probably seen about 7 of them in my 15 years of collecting... It is the only year that actually has seat numbers that is a proof ticket... Seat number always states OD3...I have no idea why the Cubs did this but it is always for the 1938 game 2. PSA WILL NOT HOLDER THIS TICKET... I know I have submitted one before... Ones that are holdered were from many years ago...Sorry... It is still printed from 1938... I would guess a value of about $200
