Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone here is able to help me ID the Pittsburgh Pirates player shown on this postcard. The writing on the front says this photo was taken at Spring Training. Thanks as always!
Jeff

The Pirates had that uniform style up until 1920 so he might have been on the roster then or before. They carried ten different right handed pitchers in 1920, five of which got most of the work. Unfortunately the little photos at bbref.com all look like they could be your guy. Betcha somebody here will know him.

Possibly Fritz Mollwitz:

If it is, it would date the photo to two years before the date stamp on the postcard.

Wow, I think that is Fritz! Thanks Brian!

"Homerun" Fritz. Literally one homerun.

Good job on the ID. Don't know what made me think he was a pitcher. Brain wasn't engaged.
Looks like bbref.com has spiffed up their webpage. Looks nice. Previous incarnation was a bit user-unfriendly but I had gotten use to it.

David,

I thought it was a pitcher at first as well. Darn that pitching follow through.

The glove looks like a first baseman's glove.
