WTB high grade raw 71T
 

I was too distracted by a legendary super bowl to bid on an ebay lot that looked like it came straight from a vending box. 202 commons in crazy high grade (nm/mt or better) hammered for under $400. Naturally, if you bought that lot and are looking to flip it ... I'm interested.

If you are looking for PSA graded, you may be happy you didn't buy that lot. PSA currently does not grade 71 Topps from vending as they were cut slightly shorter than the cards issued in packs.

Very interesting I had no clue. In this case I was just looking to add to a (mostly) raw set ... but thanks for the info.

I have quite a few really nice 1971 dupes and a near set with a lot of nice nrmt cards in it as well.

Do you need quite a bit, or are you down to just a few?

I would be happy to sell either individuals or the near set.

Is that go for 71-72 Basketball as well? I have an Archibald RC from vending that is short.

I have never heard that about the 71 topps as i have a full vending box of seemingly perfect cards. I have not tried PSA for 99.9% of my collection (was rightfully disappointed in my one attempt with a Bill Russell rookie that I got an 8...too low it is perfect) .I will have to send one in to see if that is true!

I had a Nm-Mt set that I put together in the early 70s. The high numbers were bought from Card Collectors Co and PSA wouldn't grade them.
