What year did Topps finally get better with centering?
 

Are we talking late 1970's? Some time in the 1980's? Was the centering for Topps cards overall in say 1985 as bad as it was in the 1960's?

Just wondering as I don't collect Topps cards but know of their decades long battle with the centering issue.

I've been collecting Topps ,way back to the 1974"s.I would say some were around 1985-1987 time frame area,1988"s that I got & up were centered better, than the cards I got as a kid in the mid-1970"s, that"s for sure! Hope this helps you out a little?Rob,:)

I would say 1987. 1985 was terrible for centering. I remember still getting a lot of off centered cards in 1986.

I had many 89's with centering issues. My best guess would be 1990. Idk I always liked the 1990 topps Jr Card, my favorite one of the Kid.
