anyone else? should I rip it up?

Aaron Auto

I have owned a few Aaron autographs in the past, the "n" looks wrong to me. He normally signs with very distinct "n" at the end of this name, it doesn't just tail off...just my thoughts.

I would not rule it out. check out other late 50's examples:

Do you remember how you obtained it?

Like the others have stated...it's definitely not exemplar of any of Aaron's periods, but you never know....sometimes signatures could be rushed or just different. The only thing that throws me off is that why did the forger sign over the face? I've seen players do that all the time, but if you're going to fake one, why do it there (unless they did that on purpose thinking somebody like me would think that!)?

Still...I have a hard time ripping up things like this just thinking there's a small chance it could be real.

Even if it is a fake signature, I wouldn't rip up a real card. The card itself has some value still and it's sad to further destroy something.

I have a fully signed card by both. I am trying to sell/trade all my duplicates. I have collected on and off since 1966 tho mainly post 2002. Never kept records of where things came from but mainly guys like Stinson, Gordon, Corcoran and some auction houses like Hunts and heritage
I don't want to sell something if not real. To me I always assumed it was a vintage Aaron. Before I put on ebay or trade I wanted feedback. I could send it in but it is such a gamble with PSA, JSA where I have seen them give a thumbs up to bad stuff and a thumbs down to good stuff at times and they can change their mind on a given item if sent in twice too.
May just place on ebay with a buyer beware unless there seems to be a relative consensus on the board here
