HELP: 1960 Jim Brown and 1965 Frank Ryan Cleveland Browns NFL Contracts

Hey everyone,

I am looking to sell my framed contracts for Frank Ryan and Jim Brown. Jim Brown's contract is for the 1960-61 season and the the Frank Ryan contract is for the 1965-66 season. Here are a few pictures:

Also in the framed piece is a picture of the two that is signed by Jim Brown.

I had a few questions that I thought the board could answer:

1) What is the value of this? I know his rookie contract sold for $25,000 but is that more significant?

2) If happy with an appraisal value, which auction house should I consign to?

3) Am I better off selling it privately?

Look forward to hearing what everyone thinks! I appreciate the help!

Wow....I have the EXACT same Frank Ryan1965 contract
Contracts were usually signed in 3s...One for team, one for player, and one for law office

I own 2 Jim Brown contracts, a 1964 and the 1965 that he should have signed, but he was still making the movie Dirty Dozen and retired, never signing the contract.
As far as value and whether to sell privately or auction house...why limit yourself? I would try privately 1st, and if you don't get what you think is a fair value, Leylands or Heritage House auctions seem to get top dollar for their items
