Function of Goudey's 1930s Chicago facility?

A note in Marshall Fogel's history of Goudey Gum mentions there being a facility for some limited time in Chicago:

Since Marshall doesn't elucidate there, does anyone know more about what they did or might've done at that location? I know they produced a large quantity of cards in Boston and some additional sets via World Wide Gum in Canada. Could Chicago also have printed cards for some sets? (And if so, perhaps some that were specific to Chicago, following the success of 1933's All-Star Game in Comiskey?)

Goudey produced candy, I would think a printing company would have done the cards as American Litho did earlier.
