Something to put your balls in
|
seems like at least $43 more than I would pay.

at least they admitted it was used....:p

So apparently there is a market for vintage jock straps.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from...k+strap&_sop=3 Which doesn't surprise me. I'm not ashamed to say that I once bought an unopened box of feminine napkins from the 1950s and sold them on ebay for nearly $200. |
High proof alcohol or hemp must have been involved in this eBay listing.
Game used, eh? |

........and more importantly how do you display them? |

What's next, a fan running onto a playing field trying to steal one? :D |
I purchased a lot of game used Husker football jerseys, pants and even jock straps all as a lot at a local auction last year. Maybe I shouldn't have thrown away the jock straps? I didn't even check to see if they were "collectible".

483 on sale now...
WOW...as of now there are 483 vintage jock straps for sale.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from...p=3&rmvSB=true I just can't imagine collecting them. Do they get them graded? :) ps, btw, the title of this thread is somewhat intriguing .... Quote:

I could not resist looking at the list of athletic supporters and the first one had me cracking up.

Ughhh. I've been avoiding this thread for several days because I thought it had to do with how to display your baseballs (which I don't collect) but I finally succumbed just because I loved the title. Now I wish I hadn't.
