Question on these - can they be used on something bought (but not paid for) the day before but paid for today? Or do you need to buy and pay for something after the sale has started?

I'm uncertain, but I believe the item has to be bought/coupon has to be used in this time period.

Yes it can be used on items purchased, but not yet paid for
