Thanks to a board member i just picked up this Ruth Card.

I have never seen this card before and would love any additional info on it or if anyone else has one or if any have been graded. Translation of the back? Any info is helpfull.. also Would love to see scans if anyone has one.

So far i found this info on it:

card was issued in 1929 Babe Ruth Lou Gehrig Cowboy Outfit Japanese Baseball Menko Card

There were two 48-card sets of menko cards from 1929 (24 uncut card sheets, 4 on each sheet).
Photos of athletes, celebrities, public figures, and historical events from the early 20th century are on the front side of the cards:
Babe Ruth, Charlie Chaplin, Dieudonne Costes, Hirobumi Itō, Herbert Hoover, Janet Gaynor, Johnny Weissmuller, Thomas Edison, etc.
Detailed information of each photos are on the reverse side in japanese

The image on the Babe Ruth card was taken from a photo that was shot at an event held in 1928, Ruth and Gehrig celebrated a World Series win by dressing as cowboys.

There were two different sets of cards issued in King Magazine. King Magazine was first published in January 1925. The packaging says it is from Vol. 5 No. 8 making this set from 1930.
