Some grading opinions please
1 Attachment(s)
I brought these two 1887 cards into the PSA booth at the National. One came back a 7 , one trimmed. Not sure if it was two different graders or same person. They have exactly the same size borders. Any opinions.

You'll get much better replies with better pictures/scans. It's tough to tell with those images.

Post scans
Easier to see scans or at least much better pics. Can not tell anything from what you posted. That said size is not the best way to determine if something is trimmed.

Sorry the digital photos are bery sharp but did not download here well

Crack the "trimmed" one out and send it back to PSA with the cards of a large submitter.

What constitutes a large submitter
I was doing at least a thousand cards a month for an extended period of time, i still submit large quantities and i wish half the BS i hear from people were true I'd have a lot more money. Easy to be a conspiracy theorists and spout garbage.

Now onto something that is important, hope you are kicking the Lyme diseases butt Glyn and feeling better.:) |
Kimballs
Resubmit the trimmed one. I predict a 7.5.

Everyone can live and die by them as much as they want and I will not demean them for it.
In MY opinion the serial resubmitters for bumps, the numerous cased shady cards (including the most famous one they ever did) and even the recent thread with the board member sending back a damaged card that PSA doctored and recased is far more than enough info for me to place less trust than a 18 year old kid picking my daughter up in a cargo van with a bed in the back. |
