Not my cup of tea, but I don't think it's sick to be interested in this. Piece of sad US history to be sure. Sure this cops family thinks they are sitting on a goldmine. Who the heck knows if its what it purports to be.

On a related note, new movie coming out with Natalie Portman playing Jackie Onaissis and it's getting buzz as the move of 2017. If you are interested find the trailer. Looks amazing.

The affidavit authenticating the handcuffs is from 2004, but unless there is more posted elsewhere there is no other explanation of the provenance.
