Fake Cobb Ghost on Ebay
If you are bidding on this one you should stop, it is a fake:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/172377573241...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT The T206 printing process could not produce that effect. |
Same seller listed this card a month ago with a starting bid of $4,000 dollars ---no sale. Was discussed back then and with bidding at $300 dollars obviously needs to be talked about again.

Thanks David, I think I was part of that thread but for some reason I couldn't find it to include here. Please post a link if you can locate it. Thanks!
|
And it looks like the seller is shilling it up.
|
Not finding the previous discussion of the card. Anyone have a link?
TIA |
I believe the Card is a WST from a Reprint...

It appears that the seller won his own card.

I don't know for sure. I am looking at what you are and making the same assessment you are.
The winning bidder has a zero feedback history, with an interest in jewelry and has never won a single item, except this card. The chances that the buyer has an interest in a specialty T206 item like this is next to impossible. I think the conclusion is pretty reasonable. |
I agree. I was just askin'.. :)
