So, why / how is it appearing on "Live Auctions" forum today?

Cause of this.

All of this confusion could have been avoided by simply having the full date of an auction's end specified in the title of the thread and by editing that title after the auction is over with (for example) ***SOLD***

While I have always adhered to most of this in my auctions, I have, based on this particular thread being 'brought back', added the full YEAR of the auction ends on all my listings.

I have also PM'd the auction's OP and ask that he edit his title to show that the card has been SOLD.

Of course, it would be fairly easy for anyone interested in the card to notice the year clearly shown on each post...but, editing to SOLD may help those who 'fall into that trap'.

I further realize that, by adding a post to this 'old' thread, I am muddying the waters even further, but I'm hoping all this will be read by the right people and appropriate action will be taken to clean up the BST to where only active auctions are positioned on the current page.

Thanks,
Raymond

Sorry everyone, card has sold. This is going to happend from time to time when you have people interfering with others' BST threads. I understand I'm part of the 1% that would like my thread to be untampered with, so that gives Jake the right to do as he pleases, he does have the majority behind him.

This wasn't even interfering. Get your facts straight before you start with the whining. He just asked if it was still for sale (which he really shouldn't have as it was a freaking live auction). But it wasn't interfering. It was just a question. That said, there was nothing for you to say except it was sold. No interference, no nothing. And if this is what the PM to me was about I have to say you have some really, really thin skin.

Just saw this, plus its not like a sale price is secret on an auction.

plus i was truly interested in the card from the last bidder..(assuming money changed hands which didnt know because didnt see sold)..the post was for the last bidder or anyone that bought the card from last bidder...my moniker has 1952 in it for pete's sake..and many purchases of these types of cards....whats his deal....was just a simple question
