Early Frank Thomas Autograph Opinion
Just curious if anybody had thoughts on this early career Frank Thomas Autographed ball. At first look I thought it was close but it comes with a COA from Grand Slam Collectibles and I have yet to discover any information about them so that's kind of making me feel uneasy. Any thoughts?

Looks slowly drawn to me. Especially the last name, in particular the "T" is very shaky. I personally don't like it.

I had a 1990 White Sox team ball with a Thomas sig and although it was different from his present day sig, it didn't look anything like this one. I don't like it but that's just a gut feeling.

I agree. I have some early Thomas autos, his signature has basically stayed the same. Looks fishy.

Alright thank you all for your help!

Here is an IP legit Frank Thomas signature from 1990.
His sig did change significantly in 1991; basically an abbreviated version of this sig. I hope this helps. |
