Did you know there is a PSA Cert app for your phone?
Searched and couldn't find if this had been posted or not, so I decided to share the useful info for anybody that didn't know about it (like I didn't until a few days ago).
Anyways, in the iPhone App store (not sure about Android) there is an app for PSA Cert Verification. Just search "PSA" and it should be either the top or one of the top ones to come up. It allows you to look up cert numbers and gives you the info for the card and just a little bit about the pop report. The big thing, though, is that it also allows you to verify by scanning the barcode, which I feel would come in handy for sure, especially to weed out some of the less sophisticated fake flips/slabs. I found out about it on another forum when somebody pointed out a too good to be true 54 Aaron, and the barcode read for a Luis Gonzalez 90's card haha. Hope this helps somebody out down the line! |
Thanks for sharing this app with the board. I obtained the app and tried the scanning function on one of my cards. It worked great. I would recommend this app to others.

It also exists for Android.

Works fine on my android (Samsung) but one question . . .
Does it really read the barcode or does it simply pick up the certification # and go from there? I couldn't find any specifics on the PSA site. Thanks, Scott |
