Does this Babe Ruth signature look genuine? Thanks for the input

I have seen the same listing on ebay. ..If this was real why wouldnt this be at a major auction house?

I agree. I just couldn't figure out how it had 6-8 bids on it and the whole 14 day return policy had me intrigued along with the sellers impeccable feedback. Was going to do a PSA quickpinion but not enough time left in the auction. Thanks for your feedback!

No good.

As bold as it is makes me think it looks like something from Coach's Corner signed yesterday. The baseballs there always seem to have a date on them and an important one sometimes like that ball with 1927

joed25 09-06-2016 06:35 PM

The ball is a replica

I won't go into details about the below "baseballs" listed by Ebay seller Pacehongauctions.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/262595944193...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

But I can tell you that the "baseballs" are fake.

Hard to believe a few thousand dollars is about to be shelled out on these things. I kind of figured it had to be too good to be true but I figured I might as well ask! Thanks guys

What a cesspool the bay is,,, how they can continue to allow this is beyond me. They know, they must know and just don't care, that they are enabling criminals to just steal money.
This really is disgusting.

Not sure how "they" know? I challenge anyone to speak to someone in the United States from Scam bay. They don't know S***. All rep's, supervisors and every phone number I have ever tried are in the Philippines...Just a complete cluster f of a company. Anyone that so much as clicks on that website and do business with them is a jack ass PERIOD. :p

After several heated emails with the seller and two phone calls to Ebay Trust and Security yesterday, it appears the same person shilled both balls, probably so they didn't sell to anyone else. This morning a third phone call confirmed what the seller wrote me.

eBay
New message from: pacehongauctions (1,321Red Star)
We were not fast enough to cancel the bids and remove the item before the one hour prior to the auction when we could not make such changes. The items closed as sold, but we canceled the orders immediately afterwords. We worked with the eBay Trust & Safety Team who documented these actions.

And the "autographs" are also printed.

Fake baseball and printed autograph.
