amazing 1952 set break 2008 Topps Auction results

man when you look at todays big prices its fun to look at some past auctions

did anyone on the forum happen to bid on that goodwin auction 1952 topps set break?

a 1952 Topps PSA 8 Bily Herman

NM-MT 8 $7,531 Aug-2008 Goodwin and Co. Auctions 1952 Topps Set 477

Thats about $6,000 more than any other card since then that i see on past auction sales. Im assuming other cards also had record record highs

That 2008 auction must of been some auction considering it was at a time when the real estate market was crashing..

I have noticed, just doing some research, on what some cards sold for back in the day.

Even the correct bio Sain/Page cards carried a premium over other common cards just based on their error cards.

There is more red than green in this list, and even the Joe Black card, which I could never understand the premium on, is also starting to come down in price.
