Looks like he is going to give baseball a try. Not sure how high a level he will make, but never want to get in the way of a dream.

Success Guesses:

I'm predicting Double A....low batting average...some power...not consistent to move up to Tripe A (Hope he does though)

The Braves are supposedly in talks with him right now....

I'm guessing it's all about curiosity/gate receipts...NOT sayin' he's minor league Michael Jordan, but...

Had he done this 6 or 7 years ago I'd give him a chance. But at 29, 10+ years away from live pitching it's going to take a miracle for him to make it on merit all the way to even AAA. I have a feeling that live changeups and breaking pitches will eat him alive.

I think at best he would profile like Rick Ankiel as a hitter during Rick's last year or so if he ever got to the major league level

My prediction: improbable hot start gets him promoted to high A where he peters out and is released. Stat line: 94 games, 13 homers, 42 rbi, 190 average.
