1971 Roberto Clemente Signed Magazine Photograph.

Issued in anticipation of the World Series, this The Sporting News cover depicts Roberto Clemente getting ready to saunter to the plate. The cover was carefully cut down in size and mounted permanently to a hard cardboard backing (11x14"). It has been archivally framed in non-glare UV protected glass and acid free double matted to a framed size of just under 20 X 22”, with the cover matted to a size just under 9½ X 12½ “. It is complimented in a sharp black frame which I have left the wrap on since leaving the framer.

Clemente took his time when he signed on in beautiful thin blue felt tip against the white portion of the photo. The hitting machine also offered a salutation of “Best Wishes” to the lucky autograph seeker. Comes with Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

I included the first pic to show a cropped picture of the autograph prior to getting framed, without the issues of a camera coming into play. The line going down the center of each picture is from the CAMERA.
