Hey gents - Been a long time lurker here, but figured I'd finally get comfortable and introduce myself, especially since I've finally come down hard with the pre-war bug.

I'm Nick. Been collecting off and on for about 20 years now (currently in my late 20s). It's usually been modern issues, until a couple of months ago when I started visiting you crazy folks more often and now I'm eat up with vintage.

The two main projects I'm working on right now are 1948 Leaf and T206 Portraits (w/ no hat). I'm a little over 15 in with the Leaf, and made a deal yesterday for my first T206 from Thromdog (thanks again)! Just picking up lower condition as money allows, so it's sure to be a long (but fun) road.

I just want to thank y'all for all of the knowledge that you willingly share on here. I've had more fun just reading back through old posts and learning from some of the "veterans" in the collecting world. I look forward to participating more and continually learning from y'all. Thanks!

Hi Nick, welcome to the forum! :)

Be very careful about buying T206s. Doing so can become incredibly addictive. Next thing you know, you'll decide to start building the whole set. The Monster is a formidable foe; it has elite wallet-sucking powers.
