Need Help on 1949 Dodgers Team Ball
Got this at an antique show for less than $50 so decided it was worth a chance even if all the autographs were clubhouse. I am not an autograph guy but know that there was the batboy who was the prolific clubhouse signor for the Dodgers during this era. Based on some research I have done it doesn't seem like the Campy and Robinson follow the usual order he used but I cant tell if they are real compared to both clubhouse and actual signatures I found online.
I think its 1949 because its a Frick NL ball and I found Morrie Martin on it (1949 only for the Dodgers), Mike McCormick (1949 only), Marv Rackley (1947 to 1949) and Billy Cox (1948 to 1951). Below are some scans including the Robinson and Campy. I would appreciate any comments before I take the time and money to submit for authentication. Thanks in advance. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...psjbp8gues.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...pskauvpqfy.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...pshj66dtfc.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z...psqwy8k7ro.jpg |
