Frankie Poll

10 Attachment(s)
A female has never made it to the major leagues. We all know that. But that shouldn't prevent us from celebrating the most wonderful lady to ever appear on a vintage trading card. So what is your absolute favorite image of 1880's superstar, Miss Frankie Kemble? Vote!

I like #10 the best (the corset one) guess that makes me a perv..... :D

You can't vote for her. I would never tarnish the legacy of the beautiful Frankie Kemble by including that noodle arm in this poll. If Frankie is alive today, and I have no evidence that she isn't, she would be over 150 years old. I guarantee she would crush the much younger Julia Ruth Stevens in a throwing contest.

HAHA ................. I find the title of this thread misleading :)

Here I thought I was going to open a poll about Dr. Frank B. :D

I voted #6, the aaaahhhhhh- natural look:

WOWZA ......WOWZA ......WOWZA ......

HUBBA ..... HUBBA

VA -- VA --- VA --------- VOOOOM

Tough choice between # 2 & #10. I chose #2 though. Great cards by the way!

Thanks, Jason. I only own two of them (#1 & #6). I made a canvas of #5, which looks really nice on the wall. #4 & #7 were on eBay but I didn't win the auctions. Nobody voted for them here so that makes coping easier.

I agree with your sentiments. Frankie looks like she could have been at Woodstock or something.

Donald Trump to the Net54 community: 'Vote for Frankie. What the hell do you have to lose?'

Interesting how 4 and 10 are from the same photo shoot.

Like others, it was a tossup between 2 and 10, I went with 10 but on a different day could have gone with 2.

#3.

Number 2. No doubts

brianp-beme 08-24-2016 06:17 PM

I went with #3 because I like the unusual 'diagonal' format.

I went with #8 but I also like the N334 I have below (the other diagonal one, by S.F. Hess)...

All that said of all the "Old-Timey" actresses I find Maude Fealy to be my personal favorite!

I looked up Maude Fealy and she certainly is a pretty lady. She is young enough to be Frankie's daughter, though. She was a stage and silent film actress who survived into the talkie era. I imagine that Frankie would have some questions for her, such as, "What's a talkie?" quickly followed by, "What's a silent film?"

6 cos she looks like Stevie Nicks
