Frankie Poll
10 Attachment(s)
A female has never made it to the major leagues. We all know that. But that shouldn't prevent us from celebrating the most wonderful lady to ever appear on a vintage trading card. So what is your absolute favorite image of 1880's superstar, Miss Frankie Kemble? Vote!

I like #10 the best (the corset one) guess that makes me a perv..... :D
|
How do I vote for Julia Ruth Stevens?

Donald Trump to the Net54 community: 'Vote for Frankie. What the hell do you have to lose?'

Interesting how 4 and 10 are from the same photo shoot.
Like others, it was a tossup between 2 and 10, I went with 10 but on a different day could have gone with 2. Steve B |
#3.

Number 2. No doubts

I went with #3 because I like the unusual 'diagonal' format.

I went with #8 but I also like the N334 I have below (the other diagonal one, by S.F. Hess)...
All that said of all the "Old-Timey" actresses I find Maude Fealy to be my personal favorite! http://starsofthediamond.com/kemblefrankie.jpg http://starsofthediamond.com/kemblefrankie2.jpg http://starsofthediamond.com/kemblefrankie3.jpg |
I looked up Maude Fealy and she certainly is a pretty lady. She is young enough to be Frankie's daughter, though. She was a stage and silent film actress who survived into the talkie era. I imagine that Frankie would have some questions for her, such as, "What's a talkie?" quickly followed by, "What's a silent film?"

6 cos she looks like Stevie Nicks
