Posting this on the front page was not the way to sell them. I suggest putting prices next to them right where they are now (here). Good luck.

Thanks Leon but wasn't trying to sell them on here I just wanted opinions on if I should go with eBay like Pwcc or a big auction house like Heritage. I don't have scans of the cards otherwise I would have put them here. It is about 1/2 the set but don't know if it's better to sell them that way or one at a time. Just looking for opinions. Robert

I've sold cards through PWCC and have gotten good results. :)

Instead of listing each individually on the front page you could have asked the question something like "Hey guys, I have a bunch of lower grade 1914 CJs, what would be the best way to sell them?"

I think you would probably get a little more selling individually as opposed to a group. You know the normal venues already. Like I said, you might put prices on them right here and see if they sell, saving you some fees.

Agreed - I know many won't ask and ignore/move on if they don't see a price. Like seeing "market price" on a restaurant menu - how many times have you inquired about that in the past?

Robert - you may want to try the pricing/sales route here first then move whatever you don't sell to an AH like PWCC, Goodwin, LOTG, etc. I sold the 95-100 or so 1914 CJ's I had here a couple years ago w/great success. I had envisioned moving whatever didn't sell to an AH, but I was cleaned out here in no time (perhaps I priced too low ). I will say there seems to be more CJ's for sale (that I have noticed) of late, so not sure where the supply/demand model is at current? When I sold there didn't seem to be a lot for sale at that time .. or so I perceived.

Good luck w/whatever path you choose.
