Making my own catalog/card/collection viewing set?

I have noticed lots of folks have cataloged, with pictures, their collections and sets and I would like to do the same thing with my 52 Topps and other cards I have purchased, but I don't have a clue how to go about doing it?

I would like a way to view my pics/collection and have a link like this one, (copied from a member here) which quite a few have in their signature/bottom of the page areas.
http://www.collectorfocus.com/collec...of-players-psa

Not sure if this is the right place to post (Maybe the water cooler section?) but thought I'd likely get the most views/info here?

Thanks in advance. :)

I may have answered/found my own question? :o

In the link I posted above, I went to the homepage and there it is, in plain site, how to go about it.

Problem is, with this site, and many others on here, I get a Virus Warning from, Avast, my computer's security system?

I believe I was once told, it's a false positive, but this warning, "Threat has been detected" with bells and whistles will get annoying anytime I go to log on.

Are there others out there that are maybe more secure, or don't trigger this false positive, if that is in fact what this is?

As far as this site, there is a community album section where hundreds of pics can easily be uploaded...I don't know about other sites as much....

Decided to give Flickr a try. Not sure how this will turn out or how long it will last as I have lots to learn yet, namely adding new photos and creating an album but the link is below in my signature.

Just noticed, flicking through my pics, that some advertisement pics are there that are not mine?

Any help with this site would be appreciated.

OK, Lens Crafters is not mine and some others.

Appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Nice 52s!

If you don't want Ads you should upgrade your account. Here is some info on that: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/flickr-for...pressions=true

Thanks. :)

Just looking at the link briefly, there is a lot of stuff there that I'll likely never use?

I don't like the ads so I will look into this a little more detailed later.

Flickr

I just joined Flickr when Google shut down Picassa, much to my chagrin. I have been very happy with it so far. I am most pleased with my ability to surf my collection from anywhere on my iPad or iPhone, as I demonstrate in this short video:

I use Sports Card Album to post my vintage cards online. Its free and a easy site to use.
