1972 Oakland Athletics World Series Green Bat. When the Oakland Athletics won a World Series in 1972, the Hillerich & Bradsby company saw fit to deviate from their usual tradition of presenting the team with a commemorative black bat, opting instead to circulate green bats to the team members. Winning the first World Series since 1930 when the franchise was located in Philadelphia, all of the team's expected stars are represented here in the form of engraved facsimile signatures. Includes entries from Charles O. Finley, Sal Bando, Rollie Fingers, Catfish Hunter, Dave Duncan, Vida Blue, Reggie Jackson and more.

Bat is in great condition. Maintains high gloss.
