82 Blackless and PSA grading

Not sure what else I could have done to make it easy on the grader to recognize the cards as Blackless... Oh well.
The one I thought they would say wasn't Blackless- the "Blacklessing" Pedro, they slabbed as Blackless.

Isn't that a great term... Blacklessing :). When building my Blackless set, which was included in the SCD Standard Catalog when they did the post 80 listings, it was harder to find certain cards with no black or gray ink, and I ended up with several spare gray transition or what are now being called Blacklessing cards. I would guess you could build a whole " set" that way

Yea I thought it was pretty funny when I first heard that as the term for less and less ink... I wouldn't mind having multiple Blacklessing cards for my main PC Murphy:)
That's awesome about the Standard Catalog Al. I have that thick baseball bible on my strongest shelf! huge.

Why did you let them send it back to you? Check the scores before they mail it and have them reholdered before they leave PSA. That's what I do.

Although you can mail it back to them on their dime (well, reimbursement grades) and they'll reslab the wrong ones and mail them back as "mechanical errors." Send them an email to get a record of it on their end.

And the other option is to use the online submission form...

As soon as they popped up under my submissions I knew they were wrong and contacted Nicholas at customer support. It's happened twice now and he says you have to send him pics and then he will send a fedex label. Who are you dealing with at PSA? I would rather they just correct it...

Mine was Matthew Shealy. Once I was able to catch it before it left PSA and they fixed it before sending my entire shipment. The other times I've had to send them back after showing them scans where they messed up. Usually I just toss them into a new submission box with separate wrapping on the mechanical errors.
