What is the best Yoan Moncada rookie card?
Since you guys helped me in the Betts,Bogaerts, and Bradley Jr thread.
What about Yoan Moncada? He seems like a phenom. http://www.masslive.com/redsox/index...o_1_prosp.html http://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/bas...ures-game-mvp/ http://image.masslive.com/home/mass-...1-standard.jpg What would be the top card for Yoan Moncada? |
Don't know if they are considered the best or the earliest (I don't collect modern stuff usually), but Graded & Raw 2016 Bowman Chrome Auto Refractors (Blue, Orange, etc.) seem to be the ones selling for the highest prices on EBay.
A raw 1/5 Auto Red Refractor sold on May 7th for $6,700.00. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2016-Bowman-...p2047675.l2557 |
Again, Bowman Chrome autos are always going to be topps. He has one for 2016.
If you're looking to start buying rookie cards, you really need to do research, and buy them before they've already jumped up exponentially in price. I used to subscribe to Baseball America religiously, and I'd track players in the low minors, and jump all over their rookie cards when they came out. His base/refractor Chrome autos are already going for $300 +. |

I didn`t know moderns go for those kind of prices. I am still stuck in that 1990s cards are dreck mode. I guess the modern market has vastly changed since I collected back than. Refractors is a new concept for me,as well as autograph cards. I better start researching this stuff and doing my homework. Red Sox seem to have a lot of upcoming prospects. An exciting time to be a Red Sox and baseball fan! |

It sold for $4,500. $6,700 was the initial listing price. Still a hefty tag regardless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Spend a few hundred now on the base card and if it takes off like Trout or even Correa, make a few hundred more in a few months. Not a bad way to profit. Of course, he could stink.

I picked up a /25 Leaf Exquist Q for $30 (signed)
