1956 Mel Ott Signed program w Kaline Briggs etc.
3 Attachment(s)
Mel Ott was an announcer for the Tigers after he retired and he signed this program just two years before his untimely death. The Cover has a Skip Briggs signature which I have been told is quite scarce and the page with the Ott also has an Early Kaline and a Rookie Bunning . Fan Must have known somebody to have owner and manager sign front and inside player gives him his home address.
Really Nice program. Asking a very fair $550.00 first pm with I will take it owns it |

This was the last home game of the Tiger's 1956 season, played on September 26 vs the White Sox.
Tigers win on a three hitter by Paul Foytack. The only Chicago run coming on Larry Doby's 23rd HR of the season in the 8th inning. http://www.retrosheet.org/boxesetc/1...260DET1956.htm Doug |
