Beautiful 1954 Topps Hank Aaron - Raw

I wonder how many times this great looking '54 Aaron has boomeranged on this horrendous seller? I know it's been talked about a ton but when I click on their feedback and see 144 NEGs in the last 12 months I have to wonder how bad it is living through that? I honestly can't imagine it. Every other email must be something they have to deal with.

you cant make this up.

I have never bought from him but he sells a lot of stuff and the majority of buyers seem happy. From his feedback it looks like once sale is made he does not care much whether buyer is happy or mad. Doubt he worries much about feedback or emails. You would think the feedback would give buyers pause but they seem to keep coming.

probably 90% real, the other 10% likely photoshopped

I bought a few items from him a year or so ago. I kept 2 cards a 56 Kaline and
56 banks both graded PSA5. I sent a 56 Clemente and Mantle back to him and got a immediate refund

We're the cards that graded a 5 described as EX or NM?

That's hardly the same " card ".

As mentioned previously, photo shop seems to be the answer . Looks like the card has been cleaned up a bit!

bobsbbcards 06-22-2016 05:07 AM

That's not the same card. Unless he's a graphic designer and has worked with PhotoShop for 10+ years, there are too many subtle details that are different in the two cards. Angle of cut on upper right corner with shadow detail would be very difficult to get right (naming one thing out of 50).

bobsbbcards 06-22-2016 05:10 AM

....and to name another. Why on earth would he PhotoShop in a different tilt? They both are tilted, but the top one goes the opposite way as the bottom one.

It seems like that kind of discrepancy is what you should expect from that seller, though.

Kinda clever. He never once says "you'll receive exact card shown" lol
