Mickey Mantle Glove - Little Help???

8 Attachment(s)
Hello All:

My "Little" brother bought this Mickey Mantle glove at a Garage Sale for $20.00, I think. (He is 48 years old!)

Anyway, he asked me if I could find out anything about it, but I don't know much about the vintage glove hobby...

My WAG is that it is a late-1960s Imported Mickey Mantle glove. Branded on it are the words BG - 26 - MM Professional League, etc. Please look at the pictures!

I realize that it is in "Near Beat to Beat" condition, but does it have ANY collector value? Any info that you would be willing to share would be MUCH appreciated!

Very little value I'm afraid. The Rawlings MM models with The Mick's fac sig are collectable but with the block name reference, the overseas maker and condition hold this one down. $20 might be too much unless it is playable.

Greg,
My wife and I vacationed in Vancouver in 2015. We loved it.
Beautiful city, friendly people, we had great weather.
I do not remember the name of the street (might be Denman St) but around the corner from the Best Western Plus Sands Hotel is the equivalent of restaurant row in NYC. Blocks and blocks of ethnic restaurants and everyone we ate at was terrific.
These streets run parallel to Stanley Park which you should visit also. They have a marvelous aquarium there.
And if you get time visit Victoria for a day. Especially Butchart Gardens.

Richard has some great options for you. Gas Town in downtown Vancouver is worth checking out and has some excellent food options. I love Commercial Drive for casual ethic food too and Granville Island is fun. Must visit Stanley Park. Victoria on the Island is beautiful.
