1952 Topps Mickey Mantle PSA 2 - Tampered?
 

Do you guys think the PSA holder for this Mantle card was tampered with?

I've never seen a 1952 Mantle in that hue of blue.

Hard to say but the card looks off. You may get a better response in the discussion forum though.

That's not a real Mick in there

If I had a $13,000 card sitting in an old holder that looked like it was tampered with, and I knew it was real, I would send it to PSA to get a nice new holder. Especially knowing that it could be the difference between selling it for $10k or $17k (assuming it is in fact real).

If you have doubts, pass. Follow your gut.

I do not think the back hologram was still in use when PSA moved to the square corner flip on front. something not jiving here.
