You had a lot of nice cards in that lot that I needed but with already owning quite a few of them, I was hoping, maybe selfishly, that you would break up the lot and sell them individually.

Because the seller is the first one to tell you he will split , thats why he says hes not splitting......if you just waited you would see all the cards sold together...so no reason to even ask...

Maybe the new owner will split it, never hurts to ask

true..can post 'whoever buys the lot id be interested in buying some of them if you split them' which also passively informs the current owner that he could split them up.....it a waste to ask the current owner though who very well knows he can split up the cards.....thats why i always think its funny theres always someone that asks 'i interested if you split them up' i think you will even see someone that say that even if the original owner says 'please dont ask if i will split them up, i will let you know if i do'

I did buy this lot. My intention is taking them to the National with my other cards. If somebody is interested in some cards, they can make me a offer. Thanks, Don
