A little help please
1 Attachment(s)
What are these postcards? They are heavy embossed & airbrushed. Supposedly from 1900's, and 5 to the set. What are they worth? What would the set be worth? Note: The catcher's mask. TIA

Believe there are 5
These are actual players who have been identified, probably even in an earlier net 54 thread. At one time I had 5 and knew who they were, but no longer remember. Try a search here. One of the ones you are missing is a pitcher with arms over his head in a windup, I believe it is Winter.

i have seen these on a few occasions for 10-20 each

Google
I checked Google for embossed player post cards identified and found a net 54 thread which identified 3 of them. However, the search also turned up an scp auction of a set of 6 not 5 , but they were not identified. Since these were made from actual photos, I think you find them all identified somewhere.

Thanks for the help. Wish we had a search by image here. :)

I have three of these postcards all with printing on them of Ed Gagnier, SS Lincoln. I'm thinking they were sold at the ballpark in Lincoln, but I don't know for sure and Gagnier is the only player I've seen.
