1970s (60s?) Pittsburgh Pirates Ceramic 12" Figure
 

I came across this at a thrift store. I have tried doing some research, but didn't come up with much. I assume it's from the '70s, possibly the 60's? If you have any information to share or more details, please send me a PM.

Here is the only thing comparable that I found. As you can see from the pictures, the molds are identical, other than the base. However, the paint is much different. Mine stands right at 12" tall.

I had a custom made hockey figure of the team I played for similar to the one in this photo that my mom painted in the early 1980s.

I come across more hockey than baseball players, though I live in Canada so that shouldn't come as a surprise.

It's unfortunate he's not in a Red Sox uniform! ;)
