any "n" cards or early advertising?

Do they really get any customers on Friday nights at this show? I have heard most of the time its totally dead. If I go, its always on Saturday, as Friday night I would have to battle rush-hour traffic (I live 25 miles away) plus it gives me something to do on a Saturday. Also, not the greatest spot to be in at night I would think. I have no problems during the day.

Maybe we should wear a Net54 pin, like the ones from the Nationals in the past to identify each other so we can meet each other.

Yeah. I dont know why they still call it the Dania Show. Its in Ft. Lauderdale. Commercial and Powerline.

I should be there... possibly Friday on way home from naples.

The card show emailed and said SGC would be there this weekend.

Funny, I was just turned down for a job there two weeks ago. This shouldn't be too awkward ;) :D

Overall, pretty decent crowd, lots of fun and I made a bit of dough at the same time :)

Nice to meet you too, Royce and great to see Henry there as well. Overall a decent selection of Pre-war stuff there too, I was surprised. It was the first time I've been to that show in my 20 years of living here.

my wife and i showed up at 1:45pm on saturday and everyone had already packed up there things.... i guess will try and meet people next time

Yeah usually the show goes till 5 but they were hosting a wedding so we had to pack up early.

The show promoter should have mentioned an earlier exodus than normal due to the other event. I don't mind driving for a good distance to a show I just want it to be worth my time. I was speaking with a friend yesterday about driving with him to do a few Tri-Stars in Houston.....

Agreed - I was rushing and kept telling my wife it closes at 4pm.... then we show up and she was pissed... (she actually likes the shows and helps me search for things)

That sucks. But if you have a wife that helps you hunt for cards you should consider yourself very lucky. Mine would rather go to the dentist than a card show (no offense to our resident dentists)

Leon... she likes that i have enjoyed this hobby for over 30 years... and since she doesnt really have a hobby she just goes with the flow.

I bet a lot of people didnt know that. Bummer for them.
