CLOSED - MANTLES - 58Base&59AS - UN-REA Auction #3
 

Up for auction are two different Topps Mantles cards: 1958 base card and 1959 All Star. Two separate auctions in the same thread.

1) 1958 - Nice and clean, front and back. No creases. At the front, bottom right you can see a snippet of a card that would have been next to it on the original sheet. I guess you could take a paper cutter and snip it off, but why bother? I've had this card since the 60s, and like it the way it is.

2) 1959 All Star - Another nice, clean front and back. Again, no creases. Seem to be some light ink transfer smudges at right center boarder.

Anyway, don't you just love the backs of cards from the 50's? Fun stuff!! They don't do this kind of stuff anymore - too stodgy!
